This film was shot and edited by the Epsom College Film Production Club.
Epsom has a long tradition of excellence in the provision of boarding and was one of the first top schools in the country to offer weekly boarding.
The boarding environment at Epsom provides families with an ideal balance between school and their very busy home and professional lives. The decision to board is often driven by the students themselves, welcoming the opportunity for independence and a chance to develop their self-reliance.
The outstanding pastoral care within the College's House system encourages pupils to take responsibility, make decisions and become more confident as they grow towards adulthood.
The seven boarding Houses at Epsom are based on a family-orientated support network, each having a resident Housemaster/Housemistress, assisted by House Tutors, who are always on hand to provide advice and support.
All boarders, whether weekly or full, share a bedroom with up to three students in their year group. Thereafter, they enjoy a double study bedroom with the option, in most cases, of a single study in the Upper Sixth Form.
Although all meals are taken in the central Dining Hall, where students can enjoy a social setting, catering facilities are available in all Houses for pupils to make light snacks.
