Granville House

Granville House is the only house still occupying its original accommodation in the main school building, giving it a unique position being the closest to all the main school facilities. Over that period the house has expanded and now occupies a vast area on two floors above the main school corridor. The house is named after The 2nd Earl Granville, who was the third President of the College.

Robert Young was appointed Housemaster of Granville in September 2009.

Rob and his wife Rebecca together with their two dogs Jacques and Dipsy and cat Tiggerare are the first husband and wife team in Granville for over 30 years. Previously a tutor in Holman, Rob has been teaching economics at the College for the past three years. He also has family connections at Epsom being the brother-in-law of Fayrer Housemaster Stuart Head, as well as having two uncles who are Old Epsomians.

Rebecca has a demanding career as a property manager in London but will also take an active part in College life by coaching various sports on Saturdays and acting as a tutor in Crawfurd House.
