Pastoral Care

The wellbeing of our Lower School pupils is nurtured through the delivery of first class pastoral care.

There are three forms in each year group in the Lower School. Each form has a dedicated form tutor who is the regular point of contact for our pupils. The Form Tutor meets with their tutees daily, with three extended form times each week. These sessions form a structure for regular one-to-one meetings to support pupils' academic progress and general wellbeing.

In addition, there are three houses in the Lower School which forms the structure of the pupils' co-curricular adventures.

The Head of Lower School provides a weekly assembly to Lower School pupils on Monday mornings. Chapel services, delivered by our Senior Chaplain, are held on Friday mornings. This also serves as an opportunity for us to welcome parents to share in the Lower School community and to enable regular communication with the Head of Lower School and the Headmaster.

Medical Centre

The Medical Centre is staffed by qualified resident nurses and it also has an integral role to play in the pastoral welfare of our pupils. The School Medical Officer holds a daily surgery for all pupils and a special surgery for girls on Thursdays. A School Counsellor is available to all pupils and supports the work of other staff.
