Eboni Beckford-Chambers with members of the U14 and U15 netball squads
Old Epsomian Eboni Beckford-Chambers, a star of the England national netball team, made a return visit to the College this week to run a training session in preparation for next term's matches.
Eboni was in celebratory mode having recently played in the England side that defeated New Zealand 33-26 in the final of the World Netball Series at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
Players from the College's U14 and U15 squads were delighted to meet Eboni, who ran through a series of practice moves during the session and answered questions about her career as a professional netball player.
Whilst at the College, Eboni was keen to catch up with some of her old teachers, visiting Director of Drama Kim Chandley and touring the drama studios. She also had time to call in at White House, where she had spent two very happy years and talked to her fomer Housemistress, Celine Windmill.
After leaving Epsom, Eboni attended Bristol University, where she combined her time studying for a degree in Law with being a member of Team Bath.
The visit was arranged in conjunction with Kukri Sports, which supplies the College's games kit as well as that of the England netball team.
