Pupils showcase fine work and artistry
The annual photography exhibition took place on Tuesday this week. It was a chance to celebrate all the hard work that the photography pupils have put in over the course of this year.
A level and GCSE year groups displayed varied pieces from framed prints to the moving image and some physical installations. The event was well attended by the Headmaster, parents, pupils and members of staff supporting their tutees.
Some of the themes that the pupils have been studying this year were: surrealism, expressionism, cubism as well as many others.
Mrs Muller, Director of Academic Operations, commented on the exceptionally high standard of the work on display as well as the wide range of artistic techniques the pupils employed this year.
The work is due to be moderated by the exam board over the next few days and the College is confident that the outcomes will reflect the exceptionally committed and hard-working pupils.
