The rocket man!

A group of prep school pupils and their teachers enjoyed an educational afternoon with the College's DT Department last week.

Twenty Year 5 boys from Rokeby School joined Head of Department Abi Wickham and other DT Department staff for an interactive workshop designing a rocket.

Having made their flying machines, the young designers went out onto the College's Main Lawn and, with the help of DT Technician Graham Bowler, launched the rockets into the sky amid much excitement.

The afternoon culminated with the boys, their teachers and some Rokeby parents enjoying afternoon tea on the lawns.
