Group of OEs outside the Cathedral
Chapel Choir was privileged to sing Evensong to a large weekday congregation at Salisbury Cathedral in October.
The magnificent building played backdrop to a superb evening of music as 61 members of Chapel Choir sang Psalms 98 and 99, Neary's Responses, Howells' Collegium Regale and Nares' The Souls of the Righteous.
Among the congregation were a large number of parents, friends and Old Epsomians, many of whom enjoyed a full day in Salisbury hosted by the Epsom College Education Trust.
In the morning there was a guided tour of Arundells, the home of former British Prime Minister, Sir Edward Heath, followed by lunch at the Refectory Restaurant in the Cathedral, and during the afternoon guests joined a guided tour of the Cathedral before taking afternoon tea.
In recent years, Chapel Choir has performed in many of the country's leading cathedrals including Westminster Abbey, Canterbury, St Albans, Southwark and Portsmouth.
