Holiday sports courses 2017
"Taylor had such a great week. She didn't stop talking about what she had done and the great friends she made while here. She was always eager to attend, and sad when it ended. This can only be down to the great team and the down-to-earth coaches that look after them so well."
Mother of Taylor, age 11

Hockey and cricket masterclasses
This year we are proud to launch our holiday Masterclass courses, running in the summer holidays. Children will receive expert coaching in their chosen sport and will work throughout the course to develop key skills. These courses have entry criteria as they are aimed at those looking to play their sport at a higher level. There will be a qualified coaching team working with girls and boys in small groups to ensure constructive feedback and personal attention for each attendee.
This course will be led by Matt Homes and a team of skilled ECB qualified coaches. Matt Homes is an ECB Level 3 Coach who has worked at Epsom College as a specialist cricket coach both with the U14 age group and more recently the 1st XI. Additionally, Matt runs the In-Touch Cricket Academy which is located at the College and is the Director of Cricket for Surrey Championship Premier side Ashtead CC.
Matt has played club cricket for Mitcham, Ashford, Reigate Priory, Ashtead and is currently an MCC playing member.
The course will include a series of masterclass skills sessions covering batting, bowling and fielding. The sessions will take place at the outside nets utilising bowling machines for the batting sessions. There will be a backup of the indoor sports hall for any inclement weather.
