Entering the Sixth Form is an exciting step, a time of new challenges and growing independence, with extensive opportunities for enrichment as well as a time for serious study.
At Epsom College, the Sixth Form offers a broad range of learning opportunities that allow individuals to flourish and prepare for the demands of the wider world.
The College takes pride in guiding and encouraging each student to fulfil and surpass his or her goals through the widest possible post-16 academic curriculum presented in a structured learning environment with outstanding levels of pastoral support.
Creative timetabling, small classes, inspirational teaching and tutor support enable students to achieve their full academic potential, whilst learning the study and time management skills that will be important to success at university.
A strong community ethos and sense of broader responsibility persists at Epsom College. The wide range of co-curricular activities available allows students to learn more about their individual strengths and capabilities and to develop leadership skills.
Extensive opportunities also exist to have fun with other like-minded students in sport, drama productions, orchestras, choirs, societies and on Duke of Edinburgh's Award expeditions, trips abroad and much more.
The College has outstanding resources, with a dedicated Sixth Form Centre with superb ICT facilities and a social and educational programme overseen by Assistant Head:Head of Sixth Form, Nick Russell, and Head of Lower Sixth, Gordon Watson.
A comprehensive higher education and careers service provides excellent guidance for all Sixth Formers, including provision for those interested in entering Oxbridge or pursuing a medical career.
