Epsom’s Pastoral Care Among Best in the UK
The pastoral care provided by Epsom College has been voted among the ‘best of the best’ delivered by any independent school in the UK. The Week publishes an annual guide to Independent Education at the start of each academic year and ranks the strongest performing schools across a range of awards.
Epsom College has featured every year since 2017, and each time for a different facet of school life.
The Week’s ‘Best of the Best’ Independent School, for…
… All-Rounders (2017)
… Co-Curricular (2018)
… CCF (2019)
… Lower School Sport (2020)
… Pastoral Care (2021)
Helen Keevil, Assistant Head: Pupil Welfare, said: “It is such an accolade that The Week has recognised all the great work done by our matrons, Housemasters, Housemistresses, teachers and support staff in caring for all our pupils.
“The pastoral support networks here at Epsom are based on the child-centred approach in that the triangle of parents, school, house are of the utmost importance. That communication enables our young people to flourish in a safe, structured environment where all stakeholders are aiming for the same goals, which are ensuring that our children are happy, loved and confident to be themselves.”
