Even if your child opts not to pursue the arts academically into GCSE and on to A-level, they can still be¬†enjoyed enthusiastically as part of our extensive co-curricular programme. This means that your child won’t miss out on the many virtues of artistic expression, such as self-confidence, risk-taking, creative problem solving, camaraderie and personal development.

Whole school drama productions take place twice a year, with additional Lower School and Upper School productions throughout the year. These are lavish affairs with high production values and packed audiences that showcase the impressive talents of our pupils.

The College prides itself on its two dance studios, each with sprung floors and mirrors. Dance activities at beginner, intermediate and advanced level are offered in ballet, jazz, tap and street dance.

Music is the lifeblood of our community. While our elite ensembles and choirs represent the College across the UK and overseas, with pupils performing at the Royal Albert Hall and sell out nights at London jazz clubs, the more tunefully challenged are never left behind, with opportunities to perform and participate for all.

In the words of our Director of Music, “if a pupil begins to learn an instrument on a Monday, they are able to join an ensemble on Tuesday.”

Above all, Epsom celebrates the making and performing of music, and revels in being part of a musical community.

Art, Design and Photography.

In fact, no matter the discipline, all of our pupils’ creative talents are celebrated by the whole community. Whether in the exceptional artwork that adorns the walls of our buildings, or the stunning exhibitions of photography or design and technology coursework – from a department that proudly boasts a number of Arkwright Scholars.
