Girls play Netball throughout the year, and as their main sport in the Lent term. With 27 teams, all girls are given the opportunity to represent the School. We provide a programme that is appropriate for every girl at the College, no matter their ability.

Teams compete on a weekly basis against schools from South East England, London and the Home Counties, as well as taking part in a number of tournaments throughout the year including Surrey Schools, National Schools and FastFive.

The College has an outstanding record in the sport. Eboni Beckford-Chambers, a former pupil who left the College in 2006, won Gold with the England Roses at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

While at Epsom, Eboni climbed the ranks in England Netball, playing at U17 and U19 levels, before being named captain of England U21s in 2007, leading the squad to the World Youth Championships. She made her senior England debut in 2008. To date, she has won over 90 senior international caps. She is currently captain of Superleague team, Team Bath, and regularly returns to Epsom to coach pupils.  Alongside her netball career, Eboni has forged a successful career as a solicitor.

Success set to continue.

Eboni’s success looks set to continue. We regularly have girls selected to high-performance programmes, including representation at Surrey Satellite and County Academies, plus Surrey Storm, the local Vitality Superleague franchise, at U17, U19 and U21.

Coaching to a very high level.

Coaching is provided throughout the year by specialist netball coaches who have a vast amount of playing and coaching experience. We’re proud to have amongst our coaching staff those that have represented at international level and those that are currently coaching within Surrey Storm NPL, Surrey County and the England Netball Academy Coach Placement Scheme. Our specialist coaches are also supported by teaching staff, several of whom have competed at a high level themselves.

Tours.

The senior netball teams tour to Dubai every two years where, as well as playing local schools and competing in the Dubai College Netball Tournament, the girls get to experience the culture and surroundings of this unique country.
