Autumn is one of our busiest times of year. We would usually expect to welcome thousands of guests to our College. Our normal approach is to throw open the doors and make everyone feel at home. Unfortunately, coronavirus has forced a rethink.

Rather than postponing all visits, we are instead working hard to help those families who are on the cusp of selecting their next school.

Tours for Families of Children in Year 6 or Year 11

Under the latest Government guidance schools are permitted to remain open and – given that choosing your child’s next school is a big decision – we think it is important to show you around.

Therefore, we have worked hard to ensure we can provide you with a useful and informative visit, while also taking the appropriate steps to keep everyone safe.

All tours taking place this term are now fully booked.

Covid permitting, we intend to provide more tours in January and February for those families who have so far missed out. However, given the nature of the virus and the changing guidance, we are assessing the risks associated with welcoming guests onsite.

If we are able to operate the tours, they will be made available on our Admissions pages – please check these regularly.

Tours for Families of Children in Year 5

If your child is currently in Year 5, your application deadline is a little further off. However, we know that many families will already be considering their secondary school choices.

With this in mind we intend to provide guided tours of the College in the Summer Term.

Dates will be made available on our Admissions pages early in 2021.

Maintaining Safety

  • Each tour will be for a single family (a maximum of two parents and the applicant only, we are unable to accommodate other siblings or relatives).
  • You will be guided by either a pupil or a member of staff, depending on availability. All members of your tour group must wear a face mask.
  • Guests will be required to use hand sanitiser and have their temperature taken on arrival and registration at the College.

Virtual Open Morning

In lieu of being able to visit our College in person, we have created a Virtual Open Morning. This features a series of films from senior members of staff, introducing various aspects of College life.

360º Tour

We have created this tour to give you the chance to look around our grounds and facilities, even though we can’t welcome you in person.

For the best experience, please view it in the YouTube app on your phone or tablet. Remember to set playback to the highest quality – so you can enjoy our estate in all its glory!
