Joining Our Sixth Form (16+) | Epsom College

Each year we welcome around 35 new students to the Sixth Form. We are looking for young men and women who are well-rounded and academically able. We want our students to lead rich and varied lives, contribute to the life of the College and our community, and have interests that stretch beyond the confines of the curriculum.

Entry Requirements

To be considered for a place in our Sixth Form you will need a grade average of 6.5 across all your GCSEs, with at least a Grade 7 in the subjects you wish to study at A-level. You must have at least Grade 8 for the more technical subjects, such as maths, sciences and modern languages.

Year 10 Open Mornings

The next Open Morning will be held on 5 October 2024. Register below to reserve a place on our priority booking list.

Open Mornings are the best way to see Epsom. You will be shown around the College by your own personal pupil guide, taken into departments, Houses, the Lower School and any other areas you wish to see.

Senior staff and Admissions colleagues will be available throughout the morning to talk in more detail about the College and answer any questions you have.

Year 10 & 11 College Tour

Smaller than an Open Morning, a College Tour allows you to see Epsom on a normal working day. Each event is limited to a small number of families.

What to expect from your tour

Your morning begins with a welcome from our Head, Mark Lascelles and the Head of Year. You will then be taken on a tour of the College by a pupil relevant to the school year you’re considering.

You will be taken around the College grounds and departments – but please bear in mind that this is a normal working day at the College. If you would like to see departmental showcases, you may wish to consider attending one of our termly Open Mornings.

Your tour should take around an hour. Afterwards, refreshments will be available and you can chat with senior staff and our Admissions Team.
