Scholarships and Exhibitions are awards for excellence in academic study, drama, music or sport. Throughout Epsom’s history, pupils holding awards invariably contribute much to the life of the School, and then bring their talents and aptitude to bear on the wider world.
For many, an award serves as recognition of their achievements and their potential; for others it is a route to securing a higher level of financial support by ways of a means-tested bursary.
We constantly review the way in which access to education at Epsom can be extended further, allowing talented children with less financially fortunate families to benefit from all that we offer, both inside the classroom and without.

How to apply for a scholarship.
All families who have registered a child will receive Scholarship forms in the post at the relevant times. For Year 7 entry, the forms will be sent in the Autumn Term of Year 6. For Year 9 entry, the forms will be sent in the Autumn term of Year 8.
Candidates may apply for more than one award. In any given year, scholarships and exhibitions will only be awarded if pupils of sufficient merit apply.
If your child is unsuccessful in securing an award in Year 7 or Year 9 this does not prevent them from applying again in Year 12. At all stages we wish to reward the talents of all pupils, and previous record is no impediment.
All awards are tenable throughout a pupil’s time at Epsom, subject to the Headmaster’s satisfaction with their industry, performance and behaviour.
