Robinson House was founded in 1968 and is named after Dr Henry Robinson, treasurer of the College between 1952 and 1960.
Paul Gillespie, Housemaster
I have been at Epsom College since 2004 and was Head of Economics and Business Studies prior to becoming Robinson Housemaster in 2016.
I love my job as Robinson Housemaster. There is such a variety of individuals in the House, all with their own strengths and they have a continuous ability to surprise you. I think everyone is proud to be part of the Robinson team where we look to share and celebrate everyone’s success.
I studied Economics at Exeter University and graduated in 1996 before completing my PGCE at Warwick University. Before arriving at Epsom, I taught at Sir William Ramsay School in Buckinghamshire and New Zealand International College in Auckland.
My first sporting passion is football – I have an interest in many sports and keep fit with regular running, swimming, yoga and playing golf.
I also enjoy reading, a game of chess and playing the guitar when time allows. I am married to Sarah, who teaches in the junior school at City of London Freemen’s School. We have two daughters, Anna and Daisy, who are both at Epsom.
Tracey Pointing, Matron
I have worked at Epsom College for the past 24 years and love being the Matron of Robinson House. The camaraderie between the staff and the boys is second to none. Robinson House is a positive, inclusive, diverse and happy environment!
I have been a member of my local rugby club, Sutton & Epsom, for over 28 years and I also enjoy my weekend breaks pursuing my love for Historical Britain.
Ollie King, Head of House
I’m Ollie King and I am Head of House for Robinson. My three A-levels are Geography, Economics and English. I enjoy cricket and squash and am very grateful to be a member on both 1st XI teams. I also involve myself within many co-curricular activities, such as the College charity team helping various charities locally and nationally.
