A record attendance at Prep School Cross Country

This year’s Prep School Cross Country saw Epsom welcome 600 runners from 41 prep schools.

The event – organised by Epsom College’s Master in Charge of Cross Country, Paul Lewsey, and Director of Sport, Michael Johnson – saw runners from Years 5 and 6 tackle a 1.5 mile course, and Year 7 and 8 runners take on a 2.5 mile course, around the Epsom grounds.

The winning teams in each category were awarded a shield and a medal with additional gold, silver and bronze medals given to the winners in each age category.

After the race, all competitors enjoyed a well-deserved hot tea in the marquee to replenish their energy.
