Black History Month Extravaganza

Before a packed and excitable Big School audience, the cream of Epsom’s musical talent came together to recreate, and thereby honour, the work of celebrated black artists such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Etta James and Tina Turner. There were 19 acts in total – the depth of talent at Epsom now is extraordinary – and the audience roared and clapped their approval after each and every one.

“It was a joyous, often jaw-dropping occasion that displayed Epsom College 2021 at its very best. After the long barren months of the pandemic, this was a magnificent feast of entertainment – and the audience devoured everything offered.”

Mr Nick Russell, Assistant Head: Sixth Form
