Members of the Chapel Choir were invited to sing Choral Evensong at Winchester Cathedral on Wednesday. The pupils gave a moving and professional performance and ably led the congregation in the medieval surroundings.
The music chosen for the service included popular classics of the Anglican Choral tradition including the Rousing Service in D minor by George Dyson and a sensitive rendition of Bullock’s Give Us the Wings of Faith.
It was a joy to see so many Epsom parents and Old Epsomians supporting our pupils, many of whom also met earlier for a tour of the Cathedral.
