College Hosts Rotary Young Musician Competition

The College was delighted to host the Rotary Young Musician Competition, attended by the Mayor of Epsom and Ewell, Counsellor Peter O'Donovan, and members of the Rotary Club.

The Rotary Young Musician competition, which is open to young people aged under 18, provides a stage for musical talent to shine. Starting with local level competitions, winners progress to district events. Epsom contributed eight instrumentalists and eight vocalists to the two competition categories.

The College musicians performed extremely well, along with pupils from a variety of schools. Our pupils placed well across both categories:

Musicians

  • 1st – Satomi Brocklebank
  • 2nd – Mara Savastre
  • 3rd – Daisy Gillespie

Vocalists

  • 1st – Ananya Kailasam
  • 2nd – Brandon McGuinness

The top performing pupils will progress to the district finals held in February.
