A regular fixture, and perennial highlight in the College’s music calendar, this year’s Jazz Night audience were treated to a range of outstanding performances – both instrumental and vocal – including several pupil-led groups, concluding with a set by the College Big Band. See below for highlights of the evening.
The Director of Music, Mr Paul Johnson-Hyde, commended the pupils’ dynamic performances and thanked staff accompanists Mr Wickham, Mr Osborn, and Mr Ereaut for their invaluable support, as well as the tech crew of Mr Bishop, Mr Kerswell, Mr Delaney, and Mr Brown.
He highlighted the memorable opportunity for the pupils to share the stage with such accomplished professional musicians.
