College raises £15k for local charity, The Children’s Trust

Each year the College Prefects select a charity to support at the Leavers’ Ball, and the idea of supporting The Children’s Trust was enthusiastically received. Money is raised through an auction and a raffle, with items generously donated by the parents in the year group.

This year the sum of £15,000 was raised – one of the highest totals ever received.

This week Second Master, Mr Paul Williams, presented Mr Dalton Leong, CEO of The Children’s Trust, with the cheque.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. They work with children and young people from across the UK, both from the specialist centre in Tadworth, Surrey and in communities around the country. The charity’s vision is for all children with brain injury to have the opportunity to live the best life possible.
