We are delighted to have been named as a finalist for the Student Wellbeing Award as this recognises that the promotion of pupil wellbeing sits at the heart of the school’s ethos and informs and underpins the life of the whole school community.
This year’s finalists especially needed to demonstrate that during the particular challenges of 2020-21, the school’s wellbeing programme provided for the educational, emotional and societal needs of our students.
Other shortlisting criteria included seeing that the school’s wellbeing programme has a clearly defined remit and purpose, which successfully prepares pupils for the next stage in their lives, and the impact of the initiatives and activities present in the school.
The awards, run by Independent School Parent magazine, were launched in 2018 “to highlight the excellence of the student experience in independent schools”.
The winners for this year’s awards will be announced on Tuesday 11 October.
