Epsom College has been acknowledged as the ninth best co-educational boarding school in the UK, on the basis of our 2019 A-level results.
The top 100 Independent Boarding School League Tables are published by www.best-schools.co.uk, and compiled by Education Advisers. The rankings are compiled from the percentage of A* and A grades scored at A-level, plus Pre-U grades.
This year’s outcome marks a rise of eight places from 17th in 2019, and places Epsom in the top 50 of all UK Independent Schools, boarding, day or single-sex.
Mary Murayama, Joint Managing Director at Education Advisers, said: “We publish our league tables somewhat later than the national press in order to obtain results from as close to 100% of private schools as possible. We pride ourselves on producing the most accurate and comprehensive tables available.”
The news comes just one week after the Department for Education placed Epsom in the top 1% of all schools in the country, based on A-level results, and as the top co-ed school in Surrey.
