Schools Swimming Super League
Last Thursday, our swimmers travelled to Eastbourne College to compete in the third round of the Schools Swimming Super League. Despite a late withdrawal from Dorothy Stringer School, Epsom faced formidable competition from Eastbourne and Warden Park.
The Junior Girls team (Pippa Lackenby, Tabby Luckham-Jones, Lilly Pacheco-Walsh, and Neve Anderson) secured a dominant victory in the medley relay with a 24-second lead over Eastbourne. The Intermediate Girls (Celia Skingley, Romilly Lascelles, Vanessa Chee, and Pandora Williams) matched this achievement, clinching first place in their medley relay. Individual highlights included wins by Lilly Pacheco-Walsh, Celia Skingley, Caty Buijs, Adrian Cheng, Tabby Luckham-Jones, Gabriel Kunasingam, and Sienna Raincock.
The final scores saw Epsom take second place with 243 points, just behind Eastbourne with 257. Warden Park finished third with 191 points.
