Epsom Rises a Further Six Places in The Sunday Times League Table

Rounding off what has been a strong year for the College, Epsom has been ranked 62nd in The Sunday Times Independent Secondary Schools league table. The Sunday Times ranks each school on the combined outcomes of its 2019 A-level and GCSE examinations. Over the past four years the College has risen an impressive 25 places – marking the College out as one of the country’s strongest performing schools.

This year, our pupils’ results were so strong that Epsom sits proudly as Surrey’s leading co-ed school at A-level.

Headmaster Jay Piggot said: “The aim is to maintain this strong momentum and to continue to close in upon the top 50 schools. The College ranked 87th in 2016, 70th in 2017 and 68th in 2018 demonstrating a steady upward trajectory. The current momentum lifts everyone in the school: teachers, support staff and pupils, and encourages all of us to make this community bigger, better and stronger for the benefit of everyone at Epsom.”
