We are sad to announce the passing of Murray (RM) Young at the age of 91. During his tenure at the College between 1954 and 1990, Murray was, among others, Second Headmaster 1980-90; Registrar; Head of Chemistry 1976-80; Assistant Master; Carr Housemaster 1959-76; Master in charge of Tennis.
There will be an obituary in a forthcoming OE publication, and recollections will feature in next year’s OE Magazine. If you have any special memories of Murray, please send them to oeclub@epsomcollege.org.uk.
Due to the restriction on numbers, only family and a few friends and former colleagues will be able to attend Murray’s funeral. However, the Service will be live-streamed and details are as follows:
