The College was delighted to welcome parents, OEs, their families, guests and other friends, who joined staff and pupils for the 164th Founder’s Day – our first since 2019. This was, undoubtedly, the busiest Founder’s Day we have ever hosted and was very much enjoyed by all. A number of OEs and their families also gathered by the OE Club & Development Department gazebo for their 20 Year Reunion.
The OEs played their annual cricket match against the College 1st XI and other highlights included the Lower School Athletics Championships, Inter-House Rounders, Tennis Singles Finals, a display of classic cars, sparkling wine and canapés, first-class entertainment from the Music department, and a delicious Jubilee Tea.
In the International Marquee, the African Caribbean Asian and Allies Society (ACAAS) provided an informative and bright display showcasing games, cultural artefacts and stories representative of the rich diversity within the College Community.
We look forward to seeing more OEs on Founder’s Day next year – 27th May 2023.
