Ten Epsom students travelled to Wellington to compete in five-person team relays on a beautiful lakeside run, against 20 other schools.
Despite the wind, both teams ran very well, with the girls’ team coming home in second place. Medals were awarded to Sophie Lonnon (W), Ava Manketo (Rv), Anna Russell (R), Kitty Ellis (Wh) and Georgie Jarvis-Sobey (Cr).
The boys were not placed but performed admirably. It is great that many of these young runners will be part of the team for years to come.
