Helen Tranter joins as Education Trust Director

Helen Tranter joins Epsom as Education Trust Director, responsible for developing the work of the Education Trust and OE network in support of the College’s future aims and ambitions.

Her career in education spans the last 25 years, working in academic senior management as a Lecturer in Economics and Director of Development and Alumni Relations. She has a degree in Economics and Business Management, a PGCE and is a member of the IDPE, CASE and the Institute of Leadership and Management.

With both an academic and business background, Helen has taught Economics and Business Management in both Further and Higher Education and trained commercial clients in Management and Leadership.

She has previously worked at Haileybury College, Channing School, and Reigate Grammar School as a Development and Alumni Relations Director and has raised in excess of £20 million for capital projects, educational ventures, bursaries, scholarships and bespoke academic projects.

Specialising in educational financial advancement and fundraising Helen has engaged support from a wide range of people including alumni, parents, friends of the community and also commercial sponsors.

Outside of work Helen has been a School Governor, Chair and Trustee of the Football Foundation, a Board member of the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and established two bespoke business network forums. Her other interests include tennis, golf, reading and travel.
