Houses get in the festive spirit with London outings

Three Houses enjoyed festive outings – Crawfurd and White House went ice skating at Hampton Court and Somerset House, and Raven watched Mamma Mia at the theatre.

White House

Faith Smith: “On Monday evening White House travelled to Somerset House in London for some festive ice skating followed by a meal at Pizza Express. Great fun was had by all and it was lovely to see the more experienced skaters helping their friends.”

Crawfurd House

Leah Skipper: “Crawfurd enjoyed their annual trip to Hampton Court on Wednesday evening. The decision to go mid-week (and brave the rain!) was a good one as the ice rink was much quieter and we were able to see Evelyn’s skills as she demonstrated some turns, despite the rather soggy ice. The girls had a fabulous evening and there were lots of smiles despite rather a lot of soggy bottoms… A fabulous evening and a lovely way to kick off the Christmas celebrations.”

Raven House

Rose Ewins: “On Wednesday evening, Raven House went on their annual theatre trip up to London to watch Mamma Mia: The Musical. The whole house was eager to watch the on-stage production and thoroughly enjoyed the cast’s energetic performance, who represented their characters from the film perfectly. Everyone especially loved the finale of the show, singing and dancing along to ABBA classics such as Super Trooper, Waterloo and Mamma Mia. Before taking that cheerful spirit back to the bus for a sing-along.”
