In PSD lessons we celebrated the best, brightest and most incredible women who have inspired us from history and more recently, such as Michelle Obama, Kamala Harris, Emma Watson and Malala. Pupils also explored and debated topics including unconscious bias, equal pay for sportsmen and women, and the negative connotations surrounding the concept of feminism.
The school-wide event saw posters of inspirational women displayed around campus to generate discussion and the library had a display of relevant authors for further reading.
