After a difficult year, the main aim was to give the younger players an enjoyable afternoon of competitive golf at Burhill, and the boys and girls had a great afternoon.
Joss Wells (Fa) and Will Russell (Rn) played well but were giving a huge amount of strokes and lost 2 and 1.
From the Lower School, Lucie Jones (GH) and Sophia Moore (Wa) played superb golf and won easily – 5 and 4. While Holly Justice (Hu) and – on his first outing for the golf team and with his new clubs – Orson Morris (Hu), assisted by his caddie Jo Frankland, got beaten on the 8th green.
All took a huge amount from the experience.
Final result: Epsom 1, Reeds 2.
