The junior golfers once again did themselves proud and defeated a much-fancied Reed’s team.
The matches, played at Walton Heath on the New Course – foursomes, 9 holes – could have been a daunting challenge for these relatively inexperienced golfers. However, everyone was very much up to the task and played exceptionally well.
Particularly pleasing was the way two Third Form pupils, Sophia Moores (Wa) and Lucie Anne Jones (GH), played as a team, won and clearly enjoyed the experience.
