Lower School pupils, with the help of Head of Year, Mrs Eysenck, proposed and then developed the idea of raising money for The Dame Vera Lynn children’s charity and Doctors Without Borders.
They created posters and organised stalls, including ‘Guess the Number of Sweets in the Jar’, a cake sale, a basketball competition and a raffle. The pupils had a wonderful afternoon, with some delicious cakes and sweets in the beautiful sunshine.
Even better, they managed to raise over £500 for their chosen charities.
