Martin Ellis

We are sad to announce the death in January of Martin Ellis, a visiting music teacher at Epsom College from 2000 until 2013 and College organist. Members of Chapel Choir will remember him well, especially from singing Evensong at many cathedrals and from European choir tours. Martin frequently preached in Chapel. He showed genuine interest and concern for the welfare of many Epsomians and a number became life-long friends. After retiring, he moved to Suffolk with his wife, Miriam, and began a new life as a recital organist.
