The annual Music Award Holders’ Recital took place in Big School on Thursday 13 October. The audience of family, friends and staff enjoyed an eclectic programme which included works by Bach, Prokofiev, Debussy, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and songs from West End productions.
In between the concerts, parents of Scholars’ were invited to a buffet supper where they were able to meet members of the Music Department staff.
The Director of Music, Mr Paul Johnson-Hyde, concluded the evening by thanking the pupils for the many hours of hard work and dedication that had gone into this evening’s performances. He also celebrated the fine work of our Staff Accompanist, Miss Gill Ford who works closely with our Music Scholars.
