Music Scholar Showcase Concert

Some of Epsom's finest musicians on display.

The annual Music Scholars’ Concerts took place in Big School on Tuesday. The audience of family, friends and staff enjoyed an eclectic programme which had everything from Bach to Berkowich and Vaughan Williams to Stevie Ray Vaughan.

In between the concerts, parents of scholars were invited to a buffet supper where they were able to meet members of the Music Department staff.

The Director of Music, Mr Paul Johnson-Hyde, concluded the concerts by saying it was a privilege to hear the culmination of many hours of hard work and dedication as well as thanking the parents who support their children in achieving musical excellence. He also celebrated the fine work of our Head of Performance, Miss Gill Ford who works closely with our Music Scholars.
