On Friday 3 December we were joined by the playwright Georgia Fitch. Georgia has written multiple plays which have been performed at the Bush Theatre, National Theatre, the RSC and toured to Tokyo and New York. In recent years she has written for the screen and currently she is writing for BBC Radio 4.
Our small group of budding playwrights hashed out their final ideas for their own plays and found the two-hour session invaluable. This is the pupils’ third writing workshop and now they feel ready to start writing their own plays for the National Theatre New Views competition. Georgia will read their first drafts in February and give them feedback, ready for final submission in April 2022.
