Next week is a busy one for the College’s Netball teams with the 1st team playing in the quarter-final of the SNS Cup against Millfield on Tuesday, and then in the quarter-final of the Independent Schools National Cup Plate against Alleyn’s on Wednesday. The U14A team will play Reigate Grammar in the SNS quarter-final on Wednesday.

In Rugby news, the 1st VII took home the plate at the Hampton 7s tournament on Wednesday.

Our 1st XV captain Lucas Schmid (Upper Sixth, Fayrer) has been selected to attend the England U18 Development Camp this weekend at Bisham Abbey ahead of two standalone Internationals against France and Wales later next month. Lucas’s selection comes on the back of some outstanding performances for the Harlequins U18s in the recent academy league.

1st XV player Callum Sharp (Upper Sixth, Holman) represented London and the South East U18s in their win against the North of England last weekend, he will play against the South West this weekend. Congratulations to Lucas and Callum – great achievements and well-deserved call-ups.

On the international stage, OE Bryn Bradley (Class of 2021) has been selected to play for Wales U20 in the Six Nations Championship against England. Former 1st XV captain Tom Lynagh (Class of 2021) has been selected for the Junior Wallabies squad (Australia U20) and will make his senior debut for the Queensland Reds in their opening Super Rugby game against The Hurricanes in Brisbane this weekend. Everyone at Epsom is immensely proud of Tom and Bryn’s achievements and we wish them all the very best.
