The 1st V won convincingly against Wellington, one of the strongest sides on the circuit. Luke Camfield (GH), Ronnie Hickling (Wa), James Bull (G) and Fraser Spalding (Fa) all dominated their matches, winning in straight games. Stan Tanguy (G) produced an impressive performance, only losing narrowly (2-3) to a talented Wellington first seed who had won his previous two matches against Epsom.
The overall scoreline was 4-1 to Epsom and Fraser Spalding (Fa) was awarded the player of the match trophy.
