Squash Success at The British Junior Closed

The first weekend of the year was a great one for Epsom College at the British Junior Closed squash tournament in Birmingham. Our boys played six rounds across four days.

In the U15s event, Zachary Woolven and Wilf Baker played in the second round with Zachary winning 3-0. Wilf Baker won four matches, lost two, and came 16th overall. Zachary won three, lost three, and came 12th overall.

In the U15s event, Ronnie Hickling won five, lost one, and placed 5th.

In the U13s, Luke McBride won five, lost one, and came 3rd.

All the boys are injury-free and trained hard over the Christmas period, they are ready and confident for the term ahead which brings nationals and a host of competitions.
