Yasi Fryer (Lower Sixth), Keira Patel (Lower Sixth) and Tilly White (Class of 2022) were all shortlisted for the Furniture Makers’ Company School Design Prize and were invited to exhibit their pieces at the exhibition, with Yasi being awarded second place in the category.
Eleven Sixth Form pupils attended the exhibition on Wednesday to support their peers and see the other shortlisted creations on display, from other school and university students, with an opportunity to talk to the designers. Yasi and Keira, who were present at the exhibition, also had an opportunity to discuss their designs with industry professionals.

“The standard of work entered this year was exceptionally high and all three girls did extremely well to be shortlisted for this award and illustrate the consistently high quality of project work being produced within the Design and Technology department at the College. Yasi’s second place prize is a fabulous achievement and reflects the hard work and perseverance behind her chair.”
