The 1st team fell to a close defeat against Lord Wandsworth despite a terrific all-round display from captain Tom Allen (Fa). Taking 3-34 he stemmed the flow of runs and with the bat his 71 took the team to the verge of victory.
Other individual successes in a weekend where 8 out of 11 matches were won, came from Archie Stokes (C) taking 3-6 for the 3rd XI in their victory, 56 from Will Swan (C) for the U15As, 6-19 for Jamie Yorke (F) for the U15Bs, 4-10 for Harry Jackson (P) and 50 for Luka Woods (Fa) in the U14A win, 4 wickets for Josh Coffey (Fa) in the U14B match, while Ben Berry (GH) scored 80 for the U13A team.
The U13A and U12A Girls’ Cricket teams also won well against Ewell Castle.
