Aisling, who is based in Los Angeles, was in the UK to launch her second book in the series which was published on Thursday, and she chose to celebrate with Epsom’s Year 7 pupils.
Book Two in the Series, Fireborn: Phoenix and the Frost Palace, is a magical continuation from the first book in the thrilling children’s fantasy series, full of action and adventure.
During the event the pupils were able to dive into the world of the Fireborn series, using traditional pen and paper or iPads to create their own characters, monsters and settings, after Aisling had explained how she did it for the books and her sources of inspiration.
There are copies of both of Aisling’s books available to borrow from the library and pupils are able to pre-order both books at a discount via the library.
