Josh Dixon (C) and Lilyrose Taylor-Fitzgibbon (Rv) have been selected to represent the views of young people on a national youth advisory panel for Votes For Schools. The two Fifth Form pupils will attend regular meetings with stakeholders about which debates should be covered and how the student’s voice can be effectively captured.
Some of the topics up for debate include the imminent impact of climate change, whether members of the royal family can share their political views, teaching young people about fake news in the media, and learning more about taxes and mortgages.
