Victorious at the Indoor Cadet National Championships

Epsom College Rifle Team have won the Staniforth, the Indoor Cadet National Championships, for a second year in a row

Lucy Hughes, Gemma Williams, Zoe Moir and Kenan Kousetta formed the victorious team of four who shot a series of targets over the past year. They were clear winners, several points ahead of the runners-up. This team also won the Ffennell Cup, beating several strong competitor schools.

Epsom also had 15 of the top 100 cadets in the country in the national CCF 100 competition and won the Jeudwine. This competition is shot over 300, 500 and 600 yards at Bisley with iron sights and is open to all cadet forces in the country. Fifth Formers Harry Hamlyn, Rafi Darwish, Bryce Whitley and Aaron Patel formed the winning four for this competition.

This bodes well as the team continue their training for the Cadet Full-bore National Championships in July.
