Sport Round Up – 2 December

Congratulations to Ben Boxall (Upper Sixth, Fayrer) who has been selected for the ISFA England U18s team. In other Football news, the U15As defeated Wellington 10-0 in the second round of the ISFA Cup, with hattricks for Alfie Webb (Year 10, Propert) and Charlie Walker-Smith (Year 10, Propert).

In Hockey, the U14A girls were runners-up in the regional finals with good wins against Ardingly and Hurst. The 1st XI drew 3-3 against Ardingly.

The Netball 1st team put on a dominant display indoors in the first round of the National Cup, defeating Forest School 55-18. There was also a good win for the 2nd team against Wallington High.

In Rugby, the U14As bowed out of the National Cup in the fourth round after a tight and hard-fought encounter at Whitgift.

The Squash KS5 Boys National Team won their first round against Reigate Grammar and Felsted Schools making it a clean sweep of all age groups with boys and girls through to the next stages. On Thursday the 1st V defeated Eton 4-1 and the U14s won 3-2 in a terrific result for both teams. This built on success for Epsom players in Sunday’s Frankland tournament.

The Girls’ Seniors, U14s, U13s and U12s Swimming teams defeated Sutton High in a competitive gala on Thursday.

In Tennis, Ciara Moore (Year 10, Raven) represented Surrey Ladies in the County Cup Division 1 and was part of the team that took home the trophy.
